CAlL For Artistic Entries Now OpeN Through January, 30, 2020.
Acceptable artwork includes new visual expressions of Jesus and resting in the Sacred Heart of his love. Images portraying the truth, beauty and holiness of the birth, public ministry, passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Catholic faith tradition are the guidelines for this show. Sacred art should be original while inspiring devotion to liturgy, prayer, and images of his divine mercy (spiritual or corporal works) or any the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. We encourage images and illustrations of devotion that showcase the purity of our Blessed Mother, scenes of the rosary, saints or biblical scenes and characters. We also encourage all sacred art from aspiring artists ages 13–18.

ANNIE Karto
“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever!” Psalm 89:1
The Church sings in an ancient hymn, "Lord, You have worn Yourself
out looking for me. O that Your labors will not have been in vain." The
words from this hymn rang true for me in my journey back to the full
embrace of Mother Church. She was given a penance to spread the
Divine Mercy message the rest of her life. From this came a song,
“Divine Mercy Flood My Soul”
As a Catholic singer-songwriter and inspirational speaker, Annie Karto hopes to stir the flame in the Catholic Church through the power of God’s great gift of music. The healing mercy of God is the heart of her music ministry, along with singing of the beautiful sacraments of the Church, and honoring the Blessed Mother Mary. The title song of Annie's hit CD, "Overshadow Me" won liturgical song of the year in 2002. The song, "I Am Yours," a song of consecration to the Blessed Mother won an international award in Guatemala in November of 2002. Annie has traveled extensively and appeared on EWTN's, Backstage program. Her song, "You are a Priest Forever" has touched the hearts of many priests throughout the country and in Europe.
Annie did not always have a clear mission and purpose. Through many struggles and poor choices as a young woman, God has been
molding her. She wants to bring the message of His Mercy and Hope to others.

Have you ever felt sadness, weakness or pain? Have you ever felt abandoned, isolated or lonely? If you said yes to feeling one or more of these emotions, you are sure to be encouraged by the music of Matthew Baute.
In 2004 Matthew released his debut CD "Love Wins All", with several tracks receiving airplay on EWTN’s Global Catholic Radio Network. His second CD "Hold Me, Lord" (WLP) won the 2007 Unity Award for Praise & Worship Album of the Year. "River of Grace" followed in 2008, produced by Grammy-nominated Warren Dennis Kahn. An instrumental project titled "Harmony & Balance" was subsequently released in 2010. Although Matthew has traveled the country providing music for retreats, conferences, Eucharistic Adoration and healing concerts, he now directs the choir and plays organ at a small rural parish in southwest Wisconsin. Together with his wife Leah, Matthew is primarily focused on raising their five young children. |

Dear artists, friends and family of the Art of Faith Sacred Art Show & Sale,
I'm happy to announce the dates for our 5th Annual Art of Faith Sacred Art Show and Sale ~ Rich In Mercy ~ at the same place, Farrell Hall, and the same time 2 pm to 7 pm on Saturday, March 5th and 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday, March 6th. Plans are underway to prepare a special evening presentation for families, artists and art lovers alike on Thursday, March 3rd to kickoff our "artful weekend." Save these dates for 2016! You don't want to miss this year's event!
Our patron saint, St. Faustina, inspired me to begin an art show, five years ago bridging the gap of faith and sacred art founded on the teachings of the Church, the Rock of Peter. By bringing together the unique talents of individuals of all ages, we build up God's kingdom in our own parish and family life. Thank you for being part of our catholic identity sharing the unity of the faith. The feast day of the Chair of St. Peter is Feb. 22. so drawing upon the vision of St. Faustina on Feb. 22, 1931 when Jesus appeared to her saying, "Paint an image according to the pattern you see with the signature, Jesus, I trust in you" helped lay the foundation that inspires catholic artists and the faithful to embrace artwork that was designed and dedicated to glorifying God and his infinite love.
This coming year, Pope Francis' wrote a papal bull declaring the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8th this year the beginning of the Year of Mercy, we are embracing his theme "Jesus Christ is the face of the Father's Mercy." See the attachment for our new 5th Annual Art of Faith Sacred Art Show and Sale flyer. Please share this information with your friends and family.
